Thank you for contacting the Christopher & Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center (PRC).

They were asking for donations! I'm having entirely to many spasms, pain and wound care is
slow Three Dr s have flat out turned me down because one baclofen pump Dr name Mangieri made a bad call and Wrote it in my records, approximately 7 yrs ago. I ask him to change it. He didn't. If Three want help, and they seen the stress, pain, and spasms, then look me in the eyes and made me feel like I'm trash.
Its painful to go anywhere, and one more No! would crush my spirit, if a Dr said yes I would faint or have a heart attack from excitement. I really believe these complications from extreme spasms are Going to kill me, if Someone don't step up, I'm going to die. I can't explain in words how horrible every day is With regards to your email I am going to attach information on grants for individuals, spasticity information, pain and pain management resources, and skin care information. These documents should provide helpful resources on the concerns you mentioned in your email. To assist in locating a doctor I am going to attach our doctor locator. I am unsure of you health insurance status but you may want to apply for Medicaid benefits so you can receive care if have not done so already. For more information I included our insurance document. If you are still running into trouble getting the care you need you can reach out to an advocacy group for assistance. For more information I attached our advocacy and disability rights document. I hope these resources are of assistance.
